WineNotes January 2012

January is Washington Red Blend Month

Washington winemakers are showing themselves to be true innovators when it comes to producing red blends. We will be showing four red blends this month that combine Bordeaux and Rhone varietals in an unusual (or modern?) twist on traditional blends. These wines taste great, showing wonderful complexity and nonconformity!

Cheers!

Watermill Winery ~ January 12

www.watermillwinery.com

We are very excited to kick-off the New Year with a great Northwest winery. We will have the folks from Watermill Winery in Milton-Freewater showcase their wines. When we visited them in December, we were not only impressed with the wines, but with the family as well. This will be a great tasting to set the tone for 2012.
Tasting from 5:30 - 8:30  Complimentary

Winter Values ~ January 19

Since we're sure that many of you have cleared some space in your cellars during the holidays. We thought it might be a good idea to put together a tasting of everyday wines that taste good and represent good value. So check your wine racks and come in to taste these gems.
Tasting from 5:30 - 8:00  Complimentary
